- Chris FMichelle is a warm, gentle, encouraging and dedicated music teacher. She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. She worked hard to make us all feel welcome and my son engaged with his learning through many different games, manipulatives and other instruments. She asked me what I wanted for my son for his learning and experience and worked to achieve that (it was second nature for her!). She cared about my son and is passionate about music and educating. Looking forward to continuing and involving my other son too.
- Joanna CMy three sons' are very fortunate to have Michelle as their piano teacher. Between the ages of 6 and 11, they have loved every single lesson with Michelle. She teaches through classic songs, games, hands-on activities, allows the boys to write their own songs and also choose popular songs for them to learn. Michelle is an excellent pianist herself and her love of music oozes out of her. It is very special to be able to take lessons in her home on her beautiful grand piano. Michelle also plans amazing recitals that even my more introverted son thoroughly enjoys. We are very grateful for the gift of music through piano that Michelle is giving our boys, but also the confidence, the learning how to learn in different ways and the joy for learning that is above and beyond the 30 minute piano lessons.
- Sherri-Ann LMy children & I have such wonderful memories of Teacher Michelle. She is a passionate, patient and talented teacher. I joked that I needed to have more kids so I could keep going to piano with her :) We especially loved all the extra effort she put into the year end recital and special days throughout the year. I never had to cajole my children to go to piano class and I loved learning alongside my children. Ta-ta-ti-ti and spider fingers are only a couple things I remember.
